WHAT DOES THE "GODOT VERSION" MEAN?
The game is no longer made with Renpy, but with the Godot game engine. If you have older saves from the Renpy version, they will not be compatibles with the new engine. It's a concession in exchange for having a way better game engine, allowing the devs to propose even more content.
WHEN WILL THE GAME BE FINISHED?
It's already impossible to predict the exact release date of the next update, so predicting the final release date is even more improbable. The story is far from over yet.

The code that has been developed for the VN needs further optimization, to reduce crashes you can try playing without using fast-forward.

When you buy the game on itch.io or GOG, you buy the current version and all its future updates. A pledge on Patreon or SubscribeStar is different because it allows you to participate in the development of the game through surveys.
So, to summarize the situation:
- Patreon and SubscribeStar: you pledge to help for the development of the game, and in compensation, you get access to the latest version of the game (classic on lower tiers and animated on higher tiers)
- Itch.io and GOG: to make it short, it is like Epic Game and Steam, you buy a license/copy of the game itself. This means that you will get access to all updates available.
WHAT IS THE LATEST VERSION OF THE GAME?
The latest version of the game is 0.9.1, and 0.7.9 will be the last free version.
WHEN WILL THE LATEST UPDATE BE MADE PUBLIC?
The "public version" stop at 0.7.9 (included), the reason behind this is that it is supposed to be a demo version to let players make their minds before buying the game. If you want to access to the latest version, you will have to purchase the game to continue further in the story and the game itself.

Because of the migration to the Godot engine, the devs haven't managed to put it back into the game. It will be replaced by something else in future updates.
